Who are Verdo?
Verdo Renewables Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Verdo Holding A/S, the parent company of the Verdo Group. The Group’s headquarters is located in the city of Randers, Denmark.
Verdo Renewables has two production plants in the UK; Andover in Hampshire and Grangemouth in Scotland. The two plants have a combined annual production capacity of 110,000 tonnes of wood pellets and 30,000 tonnes of briquettes.
What are Verdo wood pellets made from?
All Verdo Renewables wood pellets are manufactured from 100% locally sourced virgin softwood – no waste wood or recycled wood is used in the manufacturing process.
What binds the pellet together?
Verdo wood pellets are a completely natural product - the lignins contained within the wood act as a natural binding agent.
Are any additives used to manufacture Verdo wood pellets?
No additives of any kind are included in the manufacturing process.
Where is the raw material sourced from?
The raw material is sourced locally to our plants in Andover and Grangemouth. Verdo are FSC® approved, this means all the wood we use can be traced from FSC well managed forests.
What size of bag is Verdo Cat Litter supplied in?
Verdo Cat Litter is supplied in 10kg bags.
What are the dimensions of the bags?
The approximate dimensions of the bags are; 220mm (W) x 550mm (H).
Why are the bags labeled in kg not litres?
Verdo use an automated bagging facility. To ensure customers receive the correct amount of product, we have decided to supply in kg rather than litres – this way we know the exact weight in each bag.
What is the comparative volume in litres?
10kg of Verdo Cat Litter is the equivalent of approximately 16litres.
Can you recycle the packaging?
Verdo packaging is grade 4 Low Density Polyethylene – LDPE. This packaging can be recycled, please check with your local recycling depot to see if they accept this type of plastic.
Once ordered, how soon will a delivery be made?
All orders received by 2pm will be dispatched the same working day.
